The bombs which were strapped to the waists of the bombers contained nails and metal shards. Five people, three of them foreign workers were killed and about 40 were injured.

A year and a half ago he decided to return hoping to earn enough money to buy an apartment in his home town. He lived with his brother-in-law on Levanda Street close to where the bomb went off. The two used to spend their leisure hours at the kiosk where the bombing took place. Adrian was killed in the blast.
