Aug 31, 2010 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm | 23rd of Tevet, 5730 | כ״ג בטבת תש״ל

Avishai Shindler, 24 of Beit Hagai was one of four Israelis murdered in a terrorist drive-by shooting attack on Route 60 near Kiryat Arba east of Hebron on August 31, 2010. Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack.

Avishai Shindler caught a lift with Yitzhak and Talya Ames when their vehicle was attacked by terrorists who sprayed the vehicle with gunfire. All four passengers of the vehicle were hit by numerous shots from short range and pronounced dead at the scene.

Avishai who recently completed his studies at the Shavei Hebron Yeshiva, had only recently moved to Beit Hagai with his wife Moriah after their marriage a year ago. “He and his wife quickly integrated in life in the community here. Avishai was always full of energy and joy,” Meir Damari a resident of Beit Hagai said.

Avishai Shindler was buried in the Segula cemetery in Petah Tikva. He is survived by his wife Moriah.

Contact us today to set up an appointment. info@israelvoice.org Our preference is to make your story heard in English, but Hebrew is also fine. Videos will be subtitled for the world to understand.
